Reminder-Live Webinar Tonight, Thursday, September 17 at 8 PM Eastern Time

Just wanted to remind everybody about tonight’s iConquerMS webinar, in which I’ll be joined by naturopathic physician Dr. Deneb Bates and the Accelerated Cure Project’s President Robert McBurney for a 60 minute discussion on “Besides My MS Medications, What Else Can I Do?” We’ll be exploring complementary and alternative medical approaches to treating MS and its symptoms, and topics will include biotin, diet, vitamins and supplements, and other integrative approaches.

In order to attend the webinar, please register (click here) to receive an email with instructions on how to connect to the event Thursday evening. During the registration process you’ll be able to submit questions of your own. There are already several hundred people registered, but don’t worry, there will be plenty of room for everyone. Please don’t forget to use deodorant, though, it could get pretty crowded and I'm sure you wouldn't want to offend.

I told the organizers that I thought it would be cool if I did the entire webinar in a fake French accent because, you know, it’s classy. Sadly, they said no, and attendees will instead be subject to my glorious native New York intonations. So come on, youse mugs, register now or I’ll hit you so hard that your kids will come out shaking…

      I'm so sorry so many of you registered but then couldn't attend the webinar because of technical reasons. I guess there are still a few kinks to work out. The webinar was recorded, and it will be available on the iConquerMS website sometime soon. I'll post a link here on Wheelchair Kamikaze as soon as the archived webinar is up on the web…

    I attended and hey, great job! Lots of interesting subjects covered. The only feedback I have is that research was discussed re how it pertains to progressive MS but no mention on if it would be applicable to relapsing remitting MS.

      Gee, you bring up a very good point. Almost everything we covered in regards to progressive MS can also apply to relapsing remitting disease, except, I suppose, for biotin. Hopefully we will do another webinar on similar topics sometime soon, as one hour wasn't nearly enough time to go over everything we wanted to. Maybe I'll do an interview with Dr. Bates and publish it here on WK, going over some of the stuff we missed talking about this time around. One way or another, I'll try to get the topics covered…

    I enjoyed the webinar.Dr. Bates made some really good points in discussing Biotin, especially the need for purity with such big doses. Thanks for your comments ... although I think it would have been better in the fake french accent. :)

      Yes, I agree about the fake French accent. Hopefully I'll get another shot at it. And, yes, the need for purity applies not only to biotin but to all supplements. Unfortunately, there's no guarantee that what's listed on the label of the bottle is actually what's inside the capsules or pills within. Some brands are much more trustworthy than others. That could be a really good question to ask Dr. Bates if I do an interview or another webinar with her. Thanks.

    Excellent! You and Dr. Bates were very informative. I am seeing a new neuro tomorrow who believes in alternative approaches (love mine, but he does not). I am going in MUCH more prepared due to the webinar! Thank you for sharing your journey, this webinar and helping all of us!
    One suggestion...I would have liked to have a way to be sent the contact information that Dr. Bates showed at the end.

    A pleasure. Informative with info new to me. Expected you to make it great but instead it was GREAT! Needed another hour or two. I wasn't ready for it to end. Encore please. Look forward to the full version as I missed the first 20 minutes. Laptop computer got me in. Thank you, Marc.

In the future, if we do more webinars, you can just wait until the recorded version is put up on the web.     So disappointed! Tried repeatedly but couldn't get on after signing up (no emails ever arrived). Hoping it will soon be available here or on an alternate open site -- there's precious little quality discussion available, plus your devoted fan base demands it.
