New Wheelchair Kamikaze Video: In Search of Audrey Hepburn

Here's my latest video effort. At the request of a friend, my cousin Todd and I embark on a quest to find a statue dedicated to Audrey Hepburn, located on the east side of Manhattan. The trip takes us through Central Park and the heart of midtown Manhattan, and obstacles abound...

Hope everyone has as much fun viewing it as much as I had making it...

  1. Great video. Can't beleive that lack of curb cuts and if somebody ran you over in the street they would find a way to make sure it was your fault for being in the street right???

  3. That was a great one Mark, not for you and the lack of curb cuts but the snips of Audrey worked perfectly and you did have a couple good asses to follow.

  8. Anonymous: you're damn right, if somebody ran over me they'd most definitely make me out to be the bad guy. A guy in a wheelchair traveling in New York traffic? What is he, nuts?

Debe: thanks for the kind words, and as for the point of view, it just can't be avoided. If I wasn't in the ass man before, I certainly am one now...

Joanie: glad you liked the video, and if you've got to follow an ass, it might as well be a nice one...

kicker: glad I could make you laugh. That statue really was a disappointment...

Michelle: I'd like to thank the Academy...

Wheel: compared to 25 years ago, the city is positively sterile. Did you know that New York is now the safest big city in America?

Arti: thanks, New York certainly isn't for everybody, but I have a hard time imagining living anywhere else these days...

  9. Gary C: Now I have to go back and start reviewing the rest. Excellent. I laughed. I cried. I could smell The City.

  10. I laughed out loud at your comments about "devil girl" and the utensil-like Audrey Hepburn. Anonymous is right--it's your best so far. Made me forget that I have MS. Life is great sometimes.
