Well, it looks like Wheelchair Kamikaze has won the medGadget.com "Best Patient’s Blog" contest. (Click here for contest results)
A tremendous and heartfelt thank you to all who voted. Your comments and e-mails have inspired and humbled me ever since I started this blog about a year ago, and I can't imagine that any help I might have provided the readers of Wheelchair Kamikaze could even amount to a fraction of the encouragement your interaction has given me.
Hopefully, the coming year will bring dramatic advances in the treatment of MS, and I'll do my best to provide commentary, personal reflection, and the occasional smile.
A well deserved recognition. Your contributions to our community are significant. Thank you for all you do.ReplyDelete

YAY! Marc. I'm thinking you need to write a book!ReplyDelete
I love your blog! I am sad that I was unable to meet you at the CCSVI fundraiser in Manhatten. I find your blog truly inspiring.
My personal favorite was Remembering Stella. As a fellow owner of a yellow lab who has gone through similar trials and tribulations as my MS progressed, your article truly moved me.
Keep up the fabulous work!
A well deserved win, I must say. You are a fab writer with wicked observational skills and the wit to go with it! But you also have a great way of communicating facts and details in understandable language. Rock on, Marc!!ReplyDelete
Thanks for all the kind words, folks. It's all very much appreciated...ReplyDelete
